The story of Bunteba – From vision to reality

Behind every Bunteba product is a story full of passion and inspiration that began in the picturesque town of Stadtlaurigen. Matteo Lenzi, an Italian with a fascination for art and a love of wood, turned a challenge into an opportunity and became an inventor.The idea for Bunteba came to him during a difficult period in his life – he found refuge and hope in manual work, in dialogue with nature and in his love of child-friendly design. The Bunteba stool, the first product of his creative journey, was more than just a piece of furniture; it was the beginning of an adventure that supports and accompanies children in their development.Today, Bunteba stands not only for quality and functionality, but also for creating joy and learning opportunities together. Our products are the result of genuine craftsmanship, moulded from the copper beech of the local forest and live from the conviction that good design can stimulate the imagination and make the world a little bit better.In our workshop in Stadtlaurigen, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand, we create furniture that invites children to play, learn and discover.
